Purpose
The YMCA & YWCA of Hazleton is a joint association of the Hazleton
YMCA and the YWCA of Hazleton. These not-for-profit agencies have
joined together to serve the Greater Hazleton Area by providing
programs and services which meet the needs of the various communities
in their service areas. The Hazleton YMCA and YWCA is open to men,
women, and children of all ages, incomes, abilities, races, and
religions. |
Conduct
Code
All individuals are accepted into YMCA/YWCA activities based on
their ability to abide by the rules and regulations of the association.
Rules of conduct and rules governing the use of exercise equipment
are to be followed at all times. Failure to do so may result in
any or all of the following:
1st violation – verbal and written warning
2nd violation – one week suspension of membership
privileges
3rd violation – one month suspension of
membership privileges
4th violation – membership revoked without
refund |
Membership
Cards
A membership card is issued upon purchase of your membership. This
card must be presented upon entering the facility.
This is done to better protect you and your belongings. Lost cards
will be replaced for a cost. |
Refunds/Credits/Class
Confirmations
Schedules and fees are subject to change without prior notice.
Upon class registration, you are formally enrolled unless notified
otherwise. Should this occur, you may choose an alternate class
selection if available or receive a credit or refund. Refunds after
the first week of class, with medical excuse only. Any refunds
due after the start of session are subject to a processing fee
unless the program is cancelled. |
Financial
Aid
Financial assistance is available for those who can demonstrate need. Stop by the Front Desk
to pick up an application form. |
AWAY
“Always Welcome At YMCA” allows
you to use participating YMCA’s throughout the U.S.A. free of charge or
at reduced rates. Members
of other YMCA’s may use our facility |
Lockers
Locker rentals are available to annual Adult members for a nonrefundable
fee. See Front Desk for availability. |
